Defense of municipalities and school districts in cases involving civil rights, Section 1983, discrimination, employment practices liability, land use, due process, equal protection, Article 78 proceedings, police misconduct, false arrest, malicious prosecution, abuse of process, constitutional claims under the First, Fourth, Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments, special education and IDEA claims, bullying, negligent hiring claims and general negligence.
Defense of construction liability and contract cases and defense of developers, general contractors and subcontractors including indemnity, breach of contract and third party liability actions.
Prepare and/or review and revision of equal employment opportunity/discrimination and sexual harassment policies, present discrimination and harassment training sessions, investigation of internal complaints of discrimination and/or harassment, including sexual harassment, and provide counsel regarding complaints of discrimination and harassment.
